Hot-Blot Option
The Hot-Blot Option is used to blot the termination paste applied to the MLCC chip after the terminated chip has entered the systems oven and has formed a crust over the termination paste. With a pliable portion of the paste inside the termination paste cap
Blotting the crusted chip cap will flatten the normally bulb shaped end of the terminated chip forcing the excess paste to the edges of the chip for better edge coverage.
Hot-Blot heads are fully adjustable to allow blotting at almost any position in the ovens.
Blotting heads are removable for easy cleaning
